I don't know what the hell happened. Not happy. Like I said, I tried to unmount a volume and it would not unmount so I logged out and logged in to an admin account. While there I tried to install an EDrive into the boot drive and it failed to make a partition. I then installed it on an external drive and tried to set the startup disk, but the EDRIVE did not appear as an option, When I closed Startup Disk, I got the error that the Startup disk preferences were corrupted. I could not set a startup disk. So I booted to my back up external drive and LOW AND BEHOLD My internal boot drive is no where to be seen! In fact the APFS Media says it is NOT initialized!!! Disk 1 has completely vanished. It won't mount and I cannot restore to it. I am now trying to restore my boot drive to the APFS Physical Store but that is diskOs2
I am not sure what is going on but I think TTPro #($*& my system badly.
