Last week I used TTP 12 to remove the eDrive from my internal disk. Since I am now running 10.15.*, it seems rather pointless to keep it. Then I created an eDrive on an external disk. All went well, no problems.
Today I looked on my Time Machine disk into the most recent backup, and noticed a folder at its top named eDrive. Looking in earlier backups, well before I removed the eDrive, it is also there. Presumably it has always been there. The system says the folder contains 8gb. The new eDrive on the external disk contains 14gb because it was created on an os several revs newer than the original.
Why does Time Machine still think it's there and is it going to stay forever? Should I ask this on an Apple forum?
