I have been having issues, and have communicated them to Micromat, with Directory Backup & Trash History for months running both TT ver 9 & 10 running Sierra since May2018. I have been patiently waiting for a version update resolving this but nothing has been forthcoming.
There are bugs with Tech Tool Protection where Directory Backup needing to be reinitialized periodically because it just stops creating updates. When I discover this I need to change the settings in the Preference Panel or toggle it off & on to kick it back functional. Fortunately this gets the program working again but I am looking for more robustness as was typical of earlier versions.
Trash History has even more issues with these TTP versions as it has been found to work maybe once and then nothing, I the user, trys gets it functional again.
When the user is expecting these tools to be a reliable resource whenever a abnormality occurs this lack of robustness is significant.
