So I picked up a new Samsung SSD for the 2009 iMac w/32GB RAM running macOS Sierra 10.12.1.
Before I proceed I want to make sure that I have the concept and process correct.
1. I will clone the current 2TB HDD to the new 2TB SSD using the Volume Cloning Tool using duplicate cloning and verify destination copy.
2. I will then install the SSD into the iMac and hopefully everything should boot up as usual except that it will be much faster.
Is there anything to keep in mind prior to and after this process? and tips or suggestions?
